Gemeral Introduction
As major equipment in the rod production system, the oil well pump is driven by the motive power transmitted by pumping unit or sucker rods to pump out fluid in oil wells. Products comply with Technical Specifications on Subsurface Sucker Rod Pumps and Fittings (API Spec 11AX), Specifications on Oil Well Pumps and Components (GB/T18607) and other related standards.

1. Tubing pump
Tubing pump is also called oil tube pump. The feature is that outer cylinder and suction valve are assembled on the ground and connected under the tubing. Then it is put into well and the piston with discharge valve is put into pump by sucker rod through tubing. For the tubing pump, the structure is simple and the cost is low. The pump diameter that's allowed to pass through the same size tubing is bigger than that of rod pump. So the displacement is large. But it need trip the tubing string when inspecting pump. The well work-over is heavier for tubing pump than rod type pump. The tubing pump applies to oil well that pump setting depth is not big and output is high.
2. Rod pump
Sucker rod pump is also called insert pump. The oil tubing is not needed to be pulled out of well and the plunger is pulled out by valve rod. The inspection of rod pump is convenient but the pump’s structure is complicated and manufacture cost is high. Under the same oil tube size, the pump allowed to be passed is smaller than tubing pump. The rod pump applies to oil well that pump setting depth is big and output is low.
3.Special Oil Well Pump
According to different well condition, different types of special oil well pump are applied, to achieve high pump efficiency and meet different operation requirement. * The pump barrel is made of high quality special-purpose pipe. The internal surface is processed by surface strengthening of chrome plating or the nickel phosphorus compound plating and so on, to achieve good intensity and rigidity, wear-resistance and anticorrosion property.
* The plunger surface is processed by spray metal coated of nickel base alloy powder to achieve good wear resistance and anti-corrosion property.
*The valve ball and the valve seat are made of high carbon chromium stainless steel , ceramic, tungsten
carbide or titanium carbide material to achieve longer life span.
* The pump efficiency is high and pump work-over is long.
